Part-Time | 12-Month Engagement
We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Human Resources for a part-time, 12-month engagement. This individual will serve as a senior HR leader and trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing both strategic guidance and hands-on support across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide senior-level HR leadership and counsel to the executive team.
- Lead and support workforce planning, organizational restructuring, and reductions in force (RIFs).
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, HR policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee and evaluate employee benefits, compensation, and HR programs, balancing employee needs with financial considerations.
- Partner closely with Finance and executive leadership on headcount planning, budgeting, compensation, benefits costs, and workforce-related financial decisions.
- Advise leadership on employee relations, performance management, organizational design, and change management.
- Help strengthen HR processes, policies, and infrastructure while maintaining a practical, hands-on approach.
Ideal Background
The successful candidate will be a seasoned HR executive with broad leadership experience and strong knowledge of employment law, RIFs/restructuring, benefits, compensation, and the financial aspects of human resources. The ability to operate strategically while remaining willing to roll up their sleeves is critical.
